In 2020, two network engineers founded KeepYourHomeIP to address remote work challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their experience led them to create KeepYourHomeIP, offering personal VPN services to people worldwide.

After sharing their work trips with friends, they decided to help them by providing solutions for setting up their own VPN environments. This sparked the idea to provide this service globally, leading to the creation of KeepYourHomeIP.
